The flow of the wax casting from the inquiry to clear the product |
might look as follows |
- |
- |
1. We check the drawing together with |
the customers. If there are any |
tolerances or other significant |
dimensions, we make a note that on the |
drawing or in the attached document |
- |
- |
2. We go through the drawing with |
the plant and explains the details |
they need to consider. |
It can be anything from tolerances- |
to processing required for casting. |
- |
- |
3. If we have samples or |
"prototypes" we complement these |
to the factory. We often visit the |
factories before serial production |
starts to ensure quality and timetable. |
- |
- |
4. The factory is asked to produces a |
sample to verify the material and test |
processing. A test piece is saved |
to ensure the origin |
of the material. The sample is stored for |
several years with a batch number |
5. The test takes about 3-8 weeks |
depending on the size, processing |
and tolerances. |
We make a measurement protocol |
and use an external measurement |
company if necessary. |
6.After the customer confirmed approval |
test results, mass production can begin. |
Delivery time is between 12-16 weeks. |
7. Delivery will be made after |
GS Materials AB has checked the details |
and made a measure protocol. |
We can offer customer inventory stocking, |
to customers if needed. |
